De Bulas Old Joe 12” Open Back Banjo is met de hand gebouwd door vaklieden van een Europees merk dat sinds 2015 hoogwaardige snaarinstrumenten maakt in Lomianki in Polen. Vader Piotr werkt hier samen met zijn zoon Michal, na al drie decennia ervaring te hebben opgedaan in de instrumentbouw. Father Piotr works there with his son Michal, having gained three decades of experience in instrument making. Bulas builds almost all the metal parts in-house, combining carefully selected solid woods with classic construction techniques. The result is an open-back banjo with a warm, resonant tone and a natural response, ideal for clawhammer-style, old-time, and folk music.
