PRS SE Swamp Ash Special Charcoal

The PRS SE Swamp Ash Special is a standout in the PRS SE lineup, combining striking tonewoods and versatile electronics. Its swamp ash body paired with a 22-fret maple neck and fretboard gives it a snappy, articulate character with plenty of clarity and punch.

It features 85/15 “S” humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, flanking the PRS-designed AS-01 Single Coil “S” pickup in the middle. This unique pickup uses both alnico and steel elements to add mass and output, producing a bold, defined tone. A push/pull tone control and 5-way switch offer a wide palette of tones, from clear single-coil sparkle to warm humbucker depth. The PRS patented tremolo system rounds it all out with expressive pitch control.
