Fender Telecaster Sunburst 1978

De nerf van de essen body is mooi zichtbaar door de 3-Color Sunburst finish, waarvan de randen door de jaren heen zijn vervaagd tot een warme chocoladeachtige tint. Ondanks enkele deukjes en krasjes verkeert deze Tele in uitstekende staat voor zijn leeftijd en speelt hij geweldig, met nog genoeg leven in de frets.

De pickups zijn nog volledig origineel, en de potmeters dateren uit 1979. Het serienummer verwijst naar 1978, maar het was in de late jaren zeventig gebruikelijk dat Fender onderdelen van verschillende jaargangen gebruikte. Met een gewicht van 4,66 kg heeft deze Tele de karakteristieke stevige feel van een echte 70s Telecaster, inclusief de herkenbare toon en uitstraling.

The grain of the ash body shows elegantly through its 3-Color Sunburst finish, which has naturally aged into a rich chocolate hue around the edges. Despite some dings and scratches on the body, this Tele remains in excellent condition for its age and plays wonderfully, with plenty of life left in the frets.

Both pickups are original, and the pots date to 1979. The serial number indicates 1978, though it was common in the late 70s for Fender to assemble guitars from parts spanning different years. True to its era, this Tele has a solid, weighty feel at 4.66 kg, delivering that unmistakable 70s tone and character in full force.

Die Maserung des Eschenholzkorpus kommt durch das 3-Color-Sunburst-Finish elegant zur Geltung, das an den Rändern auf natürliche Weise zu einem satten Schokoladenbraun gealtert ist. Trotz einiger Dellen und Kratzer am Korpus ist diese Tele für ihr Alter in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand und lässt sich wunderbar spielen, wobei die Bünde noch viel Leben in sich haben.


Beide Tonabnehmer sind original, und die Potis stammen aus dem Jahr 1979. Die Seriennummer weist auf das Jahr 1978 hin, obwohl es in den späten 70er Jahren üblich war, dass Fender Gitarren aus Teilen verschiedener Baujahre zusammenbaute. Getreu ihrer Zeit hat diese Tele mit 4,66 kg ein solides, schweres Spielgefühl und liefert den unverwechselbaren Klang und Charakter der 70er Jahre in voller Kraft.
