Line-Up:

As one of the most powerful voices in the country, Waylon shares our a deep-rooted love for Americana, Folk and Country Music.

While he usually fills theathres with his blazing band, we opted for something more intimate and raw. Thanks to a wonderful collaboration with our good friends at Fender, we are able to bring the incredible Waylon to Dedemsvaart for a very special performance on our Front Porch. Stripping away the big production, he will be opening the festival in its purest form.

Performing as Thin Lizzy Tribute, an absolute all-star line-up from the Dutch rock scene is heading to Dedemsvaart. Featuring Henk Wesselink and Ymte Koekoek (Money & the Man), flanked by the massive guitar power of Mick Hup and Sheldon Yung, this is a formation that simply cannot disappoint. Last year, they completely tore the house down in a packed tent at Zwarte Cross, and now they are coming to our guitar villa to treat us to those iconic, harmonized twin-guitar lines that made Thin Lizzy legendary.

Expect a tribute show of the highest caliber, with sparks guaranteed to fly from the stage in honor of one of the most legendary rock bands in the world!

Nusantara Beat, the six-piece band hailing from Amsterdam, is quickly becoming a must-see act. With a deep connection to their Indonesian roots and a passion for honoring their cultural heritage, Nusantara Beat brings a fresh and modern take on traditional Indonesian music.

Nusantara Beat creates a unique sound that blends traditional Indonesian songs from the 20th century with their own style and creativity. The result is a mesmerizing mix of tropical and mystical sounds that take the audience on a journey to the land of their ancestors.

But Nusantara Beat isn't just about honoring tradition. They also strive to showcase the rich diversity of Indonesian music and take it into the future.

Having grown up amidst South African traditions and the down-to-earth atmosphere of North Holland, Eastman & Bourgeois artist Josua Peter spent years searching for his own voice. His songs, inspired by personal struggles, explore identity, self-love and hope.

With influences from Ray Lamontagne, Two Gallants and Bon Iver, he uses his four-octave vocal range to urge listeners to shed their masks and be themselves.

Josua’s first single ‘Bones’ was an instant hit, earning him a Radio 2 Top Song and a 3FM Megahit. During an impressive performance at Noorderslag, he was even named 3FM Talent. With his second single ‘Pins And Needles’, an EP on the way and shows at festivals such as Paaspop, Concert At Sea and Appelpop, Josua Peter is unmissable this year.

Minko are a Dutch band from the small town of Dordrecht. Brothers Dusty &
Darryl Ciggaar (Dry Riverbed Trio, Ian Siegal) and their friend Nick Croes (Typhoon, Jett Rebel) have known each other for almost twenty years. After many musical adventures with various bands and artists, on a beautiful starry night in Bali, they looked at each other and the question arose: shouldn’t we be making our own music?

Not so long ago, they joined forces with their mate Tammo Deuling (Dawn Brothers) and the band was complete.
Expect steamy Rock & Roll, blues shuffles, Country Soul, Roots, sentimental punk songs, rhythm and blues and everything in between.

The Lonesome Malones is a brand-new ensemble of seasoned musicians united by a shared passion for authentic bluegrass. The members first met at various festivals and during EWOB (European World of Bluegrass) in the Netherlands, where spontaneous jam sessions sparked a musical chemistry too strong to ignore.

What started as a series of relaxed jam sessions soon evolved into a dedicated band with a complete repertoire. The Malones deliver a fresh, energetic sound while staying true to traditional roots. Their music evokes the warmth of campfires, long summer nights, and endless highway stories, performed with craftsmanship, joy, and heart.

After ten years of touring, writing and recording with roots rock band Dawn Brothers, Bas van Holt is striking out on his own. In his solo project, the focus shifts from band dynamics to intuition and experimentation. The music moves between quirky indie pop, folk rock and instrumental guitar pieces, influenced by artists such as Beck, Daniel Lanois and Paul McCartney.

Largely recorded by Bas himself, but here and there assisted by musician friends such as Pablo van de Poel (DeWolff), Darryl Ciggaar (Minko), Ties Voskamp (Cocobolo), Jelle Rozenburg and Yanna Pelser. Alongside narrative folk songs, the album features spontaneous
improvisations, grunge tracks and tranquil guitar music. Don’t expect a stylistically consistent record, but rather a personal
collection of songs and sounds in which curiosity takes precedence over genre.

Who said guitar music is dead? Wildman isn’t having any of it.

These four lads create a mix of alternative garage rock and blues rock. Their energetic wall of sound, steeped in wailing guitars and Hammond organ, is interspersed with strong pop hooks that stick in your head. Now seasoned by gigs at home and their first European tour, Wildman’s live set has evolved into a cracking live show for a wide audience. It goes without saying that these lads draw inspiration from both the greats of yesteryear, such as Led Zeppelin and The Doors, and those of today, such as The Black Keys and Queens of the Stone Age.

Hey Moocher from Zwolle is well on its way to conquering the blues circuit and proved this once again recently when their debut EP, *Blue Heart*, promptly topped the Alice Blues Top 100. Armed with roaring guitars, a roaring double bass, a roaring blues harp and rock-solid three-part harmonies, this band delivers an acoustic live show brimming with joy and pure craftsmanship.

For fans of that authentic roots vibe, Charley Cruz & The Paradise People are an absolute must-see. Driven by a pure love of music, this band, led by frontman Charles Croes, delivers a beautifully organic sound best described as a captivating blend of Americana, folk-pop and bluegrass—but with a slightly different twist!

Our very own Meike Zandstra proves that local talent is worth its weight in gold. Music runs deep in her veins; having grown up with a father who plays the guitar and banjo, she has now fully mastered the tricks of the trade herself. Meike effortlessly accompanies herself on the piano, guitar and even an authentic clawhammer banjo. With her crystal-clear vocals and intimate, fragile songs, she knows how to touch people’s hearts and bring them together. A wonderful, pure talent that fits perfectly into the Fellowship!

When the daughter of Hey Moocher’s singer/guitarist joined the performance, the crowd fell silent—only for everyone to start singing along at the top of their voices! Mobile phones captured the moment and feet were soon tapping to the beat. Now back as a duo: Juliette Luca & Dylano Ray. This pair have mastered the art of subtlety and bring a wonderfully intimate, authentic sound to the festival. With a crystal-clear, supple voice, the deep, resonant tones of a double bass and skilful guitar playing that gives every song that little bit of extra depth, they’re back to win hearts once again.

At Fellows Festival, we not only celebrate established artists, but also provide a platform for the future. In collaboration with Vechtdal Music School, we are proud to present the Talent Stage this year. Local pupils and young talents from the region will have the unique opportunity to showcase their musical skills to a wider audience. Come along, cheer on these heroes and be the first to discover the stars of tomorrow in a wonderful, relaxed festival atmosphere.

DJ Vinyl Dikky will be taking to the decks at this festival to personally take the atmosphere to the next level between sets. Armed with a legendary selection of authentic vinyl, he’ll be spinning the best tracks. Expect a lovely, laid-back vibe full of nostalgia and musical surprises, with the needle doing all the work!

Eastman Jambooth

Has seeing all that talent at the festival left you itching to play yourself? No problem! In partnership with Eastman, we’re introducing the Eastman Jambooth this year. Grab a guitar and show us what you’ve got. Whether you fancy starting an impromptu jam session with complete strangers or just want to have a bit of a strum; the Jambooth is the place where you, as a visitor, can transform yourself into a performer!

Luthiers:

Alister Atkin
Alister Atkin is one of Britain’s most respected guitar makers, and the founder of Atkin Guitars. He began building instruments in the late 1980s and, after studying at the London School of Furniture, established Atkin Guitars in Canterbury, Kent, in 1995. Starting as a one-man workshop, he built his first steel-string acoustic guitar by hand and developed a reputation through repair and restoration work on vintage American instruments. This experience inspired his distinctive approach to guitar making.

He will join us for a Q&A session and explanation on how his guitars are built, relic'd and maybe, just maybe he will explain us how he makes these guitars sound so old!

Aaron Lowden
This year, we have a very special family affair on the programme. None other than Aaron Lowden, son of master luthier George Lowden, is making his way to Dedemsvaart! He will be dropping by for a personal and exclusive Q&A, and Aaron will be sharing how the next generation is being groomed at Lowden. He will also bring an amazing guitar with him. Namely, the first official unveiling of the TFOA 25th Anniversary Lowden for Rudi, Coen & Laura.

Nik Huber
For true guitar connoisseurs, we have an absolute world-class highlight on the programme this year. None other than Nik Huber, the master luthier behind the legendary Nik Huber Guitars, is coming to Fellows Festival for an exclusive, intimate Q&A and Luthier Session!

This is your unique chance to get a direct insight into the mind of one of the world’s most respected guitar makers. Nik is renowned for his unparalleled eye for detail, his selection of the most breathtaking woods, and his guitars, which are praised worldwide by top musicians for their perfection. During this session, he’ll share his secrets about the craft, his vision on guitar-making, and there’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask him anything and everything.

Market

We are proud to welcome Tijdcapsule, the clothes shop that now dresses just about the whole of the Dutch rock scene.

Don’t expect run-of-the-mill mass-produced items here, but rather a carefully curated selection of true vintage, robust workwear, rugged western wear and distinctive military gear. Whether you’re looking for the ultimate outfit for the stage or a timeless statement piece for everyday life, the team at Tijdcapsule will be bringing the perfect vintage vibe to our festival.

What would a guitar festival be without the warm, nostalgic sounds of ‘black gold’? Especially for music connoisseurs, Vinyl Paradijs from Geesteren is setting up shop at our festival site this year.

They’ll be bringing crates full of the very best LPs, so that between sets you can enjoy digging for that one rare rock classic, hidden blues gem or timeless roots record. Take your time, leaf through history and expand your record collection with a tangible piece of pure love for music.

Guitar Market
A The Fellowship festival wouldn’t be complete without a good dose of guitars, of course. This year, we’re going bigger than ever with our very own, exclusive Guitar Market! Yes, on top of the 1,000 guitars we already have in the shop. Expect to see top brands such as Maton, Larson Bros, Eastman, Novo, Magrabò and Kauffmann showcasing their latest gems and most exclusive high-end guitars.
