Xotic EP Pro

A pedal that combines volume control and tone shaping into one powerful tool for your pedalboard. Designed as an enhanced version of the renowned EP Booster, the Xotic EP-Pro combines an analog preamp boost with high-quality volume pedal construction.

At the heart of the EP-Pro is a FET preamp based on the classic Echoplex-style boost circuit for which Xotic is known. This analog boost can deliver up to approximately 20 dB of additional gain, adding warmth, harmonic richness, and subtle compression to your guitar signal. Controls for volume, gain, treble, and bass allow you to precisely shape the signal, from a gentle presence boost to a pronounced boost that makes your amp work harder. Internal DIP switches provide additional control to further refine the boost's frequency response and character.

In addition, the EP-Pro functions as an active volume pedal, allowing you to easily control dynamics and output with your foot. The combination of boost and volume controls allows you to subtly control your entire signal chain, for example, for swells, solo boosts, or refining your overall sound at the end of the chain. Thanks to the option between true bypass and buffered operation, your signal remains clear, even with longer cables or larger pedalboards.
