K&K Pure 12 String

The 12-string edition differs from the "standard" pure in its bass and midtones. It has strong bass tones and some more powerful mids.

The Pure 12-String is K&K's signature pickup for 12-string acoustic guitars. The Pure 12-String is a 3-head, bridge plate transducer. Bridge plate transducers are the optimal choice for achieving a rich, natural guitar sound. The Pure's position on the bridge plate provides the perfect balance of sound, picking up all the strings without sounding harsh or percussive and "listening" to the sound board to amplify the unique characteristics of your guitar. The result is a warm, full-range signal that sounds great even without a preamp!

The Pure 12-String's larger pickup heads produce an extra strong bass response and pronounced midrange. While this bass and midrange response is too strong for many guitars, especially very resonant ones, it sounds great in 12-string guitars and is a good alternative for guitars with heavy spruce tops and maple bridge plates.
